4th Annual Spirit of Giving at the State of the Union- Thursday, December 6th at 11am

It's that time again to spread some holiday cheer by participating in the 4th Annual Spirit of Giving at the State of the Union on Thursday, December 6th between 11am- 1pm.  IFMA Central Ohio has again partnered with The Salvation Army to gather gifts for the Christmas Angel Tree, so please help us celebrate the spirit of giving by bringing new, unwrapped toys to the State of the Union (see attached a list of wanted toys).

IFMA has participated in this event for four years running, we have found gifts for teenage boys and girls were in great need.

Last year, The Salvation Army provided new toys to over 10,600 children from over 6,500 families in Central Ohio. Year round, working families come to The Salvation Army seeking help for the most basic of needs.  At Christmas, these families simply have no extra funds to put gifts under the Tree.  Your gift will enable The Salvation Army to ensure every child has the opportunity to experience the joy of receiving a Christmas gift.

Salvation Army Christmas Cheer- You can also register on the IFMA website to donate your time at the Salvation Army Christmas Cheer event on Wednesday, December 22.

Thanks for your support of  this great opportunity to serve those less fortunate.

IFMA Central Ohio to host first FMP Course offered in Ohio!

IFMA Central Ohio is excited to announce that we will be hosting Ohio’s first IFMA FMP Credential Class in the spring of 2019.

This is your chance to get it on the calendar and prepare for the next step in your professional development.

IFMA's Facility Management Professional (FMP) designation is a knowledge-based credential for FM professionals and industry suppliers looking to increase their depth-of-knowledge in the core FM topics deemed critical by employers. By earning the FMP credential, you will improve your knowledge, enhance your skills, and gain immediate credibility with employers, clients, and peers.

The FMP Credential provides a strong foundation of the core competencies of Facility Management. There are 4 modules that make up the FMP credential class: Leadership and Strategy, Finance and Business, Project Management and Maintenance and Operation.
