Based on the conversations during the Water Cooler talk in March, the IFMA Central Ohio Programs Committee is working on pulling together a Water Cooler Talk on Keeping Up with COVID: The Challenges of Re-Occupying Facilities.  We're gathering a group of your fellow facility managers to talk about what their organization is doing to prepare for re-occupying their facility.

Below are some of the topics to be discussed:

  • Occupancy levels of return to work- 25%, 50%, occupancy % per floor or area of building?  
  • Employees returning on a split schedule- One week work Monday, Wednesday, Friday, next week Tuesday, Thursday?
  • Health screenings prior to returning to work- Online app that asks questions, thermometer kiosks, are masks, gloves required?
  • Office configuration- Employees occupy every other workstation, only allowed to work in office, only allowed on certain floors or sections of work area?
  • Cleaning frequency- Are areas getting cleaned more often?  Are employees required to wipe down/sanitize their work areas during work day?
